Regular interior vinyl generally states there is a 3 year outdoor usage, but it cracks and fades in extreme temperatures! So make sure you request the right kind of vinyl. Your vinyl supplier will be able to advise what type of vinyl is best for your project. It comes in some amazing metallic, hollographic and reflective films!

 

If you're looking to temporarily place a design outside, for example the holidays, regular interior vinyl will work fine.
